Once again we are headed to the beach! This time, Salishan is our destination.

Friday, September 12

Golf Tournament. The golf tournament will be at Salishan Golf Course. This course is both beautiful and challenging. The cost will be $95 which includes shared carts, green fees, and box lunch available at the turn. Check in by 9:30 am and shoot a few practice shots. Range tokens included. The first tee time is 10 am and teams go off every 10 minutes. Deep Sea Fishing.  Not a golfer? Then, get on your “sea legs” because once again we have booked a 5 hour crabbing and bottom fishing trip in Depoe Bay with Tradewinds Charter Boats. The cost is $85 and it includes crabbing and bottom fishing for everyone.  Two boats are scheduled, the "Amigo" is one of the boats, 8:30 check in 9:00 am launch. Both boats will go out at the same time. DO NOT BE LATE. A fishing and shellfish license is required. It is recommended you get these licenses before coming to the charter office. Shellfish licenses are in very limited availability at the charter office. As of Sept 2, 27 people are registered and two boats will go out with roughly even numbers of people. After September 10, the roster of people will be set and there are no more changes. Note, please do NOT book your trip directly with Tradewinds. Call the OPCA office and we will add you to the roster.

Welcome Reception.  Save your golf and fishing stories for our Welcome Social on Friday night around 6 pm in the Sunset Parlor Suite, room 183. Visit with friends and enjoy some beverages. There’s no extra charge, just RSVP on the registration form! Hosted by our friends at Univar.

Saturday, September 13

Registration for the seminar opens at 7:15 am in Council House. A buffet breakfast with cheesy eggs and Applewood bacon is provided.  Opening announcements and vendor introductions will begin at 7:45 am.  

CE Credits. ODA 6 credits (2 CORE).; WSDA 6 credits; OCHI credit: 3.5 hours.

The address is 7760 Highway 101 North, Gleneden Beach, OR 97388. OPCA has a block of rooms reserved for Thursday-Saturday, September 11-14. Traditional room: $119.00/night; Bay/Forest view room: $139.00/night. Note: our room booking deadline has been extended to August 18.
