Our annual seminar in Southern Oregon is once again at the colorful, Bear Hotel in Grants Pass. Join OPCA for a full day of information packed continuing education!

About the "Bear Hotel" at Evergreen Federal Savings

OK, it’s not really a hotel. Let us explain. The name “Bear Hotel” began as a nickname local artists gave to the Evergreen rented warehouse which produced the first three “bearfests” in Grants Pass. Later a permanent facility was built by Evergreen Federal Savings, and the name stuck. Now it is officially called the Bear Hotel Artworks Museum with meeting rooms, artist’s studios and art displays. Talented local artists create the art that is housed in the Bear Hotel. So, it’s not actually a “hotel” but it’s a great place for a meeting! We will be in the Shield room. If you have any questions about the Bear Hotel contact Teresa Caschera 541-479-3351. From I-5: Take Exit 55. Off ramp leads onto Grants Pass Parkway Blvd. At Stop light (Agness Blvd.), take a left. Go across the four-way stop. The next left turn is NE Spalding Ave. Turn left, and Bear Hotel will be on your right-hand side.

Directions from Downtown Grants Pass: Take ‘F’ Street to Grants Pass Parkway. Turn left onto the parkway. After approximately 1 mile, turn right onto Agness Blvd. (past Applebees Restaurant on the right). Go across the four-way stop. The next left turn is NE Spaulding Ave. Turn left, and Bear Hotel will be on your right-hand side.

Accommodations – Grants Pass

Three hotels that are relatively close to the Bear Hotel. Note, the Bear Hotel is not actually a hotel, so if you plan to stay over the night before or after, you’ll need to book a room somewhere else! Here are some options:
